Prom 2012

 Grace and Cole were both asked to

prom this year as Freshman.

(Prom at our high school is Junior and Senior.)

David (a junior) was supposed to attend but

couldn't because of grades. Bummer!

 Cole went with Taylor.

Taylor and Cole became friends

when Taylor tutored Cole in French.

We have several mutual family friends

with Taylor her family and we

were thrilled that they went together!

 Cole worked hard to be able to

have the money to attend prom.

It was neat to see him plan

things with Taylor and watch him

really act so mature!

Isn't he handsome?

And Miss Taylor looked stunning!

Cole and Taylor left the picture taking

session early to go and visit her grandma

who is in the hospital. (Lauren took the

pictures by the way since I was sick in bed!)

Grace attended the prom with Micah.

Micah and Grace have been

"going out" for several months now.

We love Micah. That's no secret.

He is a nice Christian boy and

has similar values as Grace.

He is also a lot of fun and is kind

to all of Graces younger siblings

when he comes over and they want

to hang all over him.

He recently spent several hours washing

all the dishes from the girls bake sale.

With a smile on his face.

(He's a keeper!)

Grace looked beautiful.

I love the purple dress she picked out.

Originally she wanted a long dress

that was $269! (That would have broke

her bank account!) And since she recently

made the cheer squad and intends to try

out again for select soccer we steered her

to the short, less expensive, equally as fabulous

dresses at another store. She even had money

left her in her budget to buy those swanky

gold sparkly heels.

They all had a wonderful night.

Complete with a trip for ice

cream after prom.

Hopefully next year-

David will be joining them!
