AJ's Goodbye Party- MAW!

 I can't believe its almost time!
Time for Angelina's WISH to come true!
Last Friday AJ's two wish givers came over for a special goodbye party for AJ and our whole family. We have been so blessed working with Make A Wish (MAW) and these two fab wish givers (Laurie and Karen) who went above and beyond to make this a special time for AJ.

 They brought Angelina her favorite meal. Grilled cheese from Sonic with little packets of ketchup, and chocolate milk and tater tots. For the rest of the family they brought several kinds of pizza and bread sticks. We all had dinner together and talked about the trip. Then after dinner they presented us with our travel packet. This included WISH buttons for us all to wear on the trip, this lets people know that AJ might need some extra special magic attention! There was also our plane ticket information, car rental info, and a very generous expense check to cover things like gas, misc. travel expenses, food and treats while we are on the wish trip. AND Angelina got $100 to spend on something for herself. Whoohoo!

Angelina's specific wish was to be made into a Princess at Disney world. The wish grantor's made AJ a special appointment at the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique in Cinderellas castle. AJ will be getting her hair done, nails and make up and she will be magically transformed into a princess.

Then we all ate cupcakes!

 There were gifts from AJ's wish grantors (Laurie and Karen). They brought some little things for all the kids to do on the plane as well as a lanyard for AJ. Even a cinderella doll! They brought AJ the most beautiful PINK sleeping beauty dress and frilly fancy princess nightgown to wear on the overnight flight to Florida. AJ will take her sleeping beauty gown and new purple comb and hairbrush to her makeover with her. We can't wait to take lots of pictures to share with you all.

Robert and I also put together a gift for AJ with a special Princess Disney book that Robert recorded on for AJ. (From the card section at the local drug store.) It is the perfect story about how she is a special princess. I couldn't believe I found it! We also bought her some lanyard pins and travel fun things and new PJS. This girl is READY TO GO!



So far... I am feeling a bit better. The kids are totally healthy (praise God)... and they are not sleeping hardly at all. They are so JAZZED. Yes, our whole family will be going to Florida. What a blessing right? And we have other family/friends meeting us there! Not only will AJ's wishes come true but we have a few special things planned during our week away to help with making lots of dreams come true. I can't wait. I really really can't wait. Its been "in the works" now for SEVEN months and in just a few days WE WILL BE THERE! (Can someone pinch me please??)
