Home Sweet Home

The kids worked really hard making a great sign.
And some lovely wonderful women from
our congressman's office and USCIS came
to see the family reunion. They were wonderful
and worked round the clock to get Isaac home
safely along with our adoption worker and many others.
We were so blessed to have so much help.
And all your prayers!
Angeline wore her new outfit. Adorable.

As they came up the escalator many tears were shed.
Tears of joy.
Tears of missed days.
Tears of Relief.
Isaac thought Dominick's hair was funny.

He was so tired and giddy.

Amen!!
Praise the Lord.
We are all together.
Isaac isn't crazy about Charlotte.
(the dog)
But he loves his siblings so much.
He slept on me last night for just a
couple hours and enjoyed breakfast-
sitting on the table so the dog didn't
get near him... all in time. :)
Chairs can come tomorrow.
Off to enjoy being a family.
And having my GUYS home is beyond
all of my wildest dreams!!!
Isaac became quite the celebrity
the past few days. It was really a
gift that he was approved to leave
Haiti. Thanks to God and all the
people who worked so hard. And
Thanks to the pilots, DHS, USCIS...
senators of WA state, our wonderful
congressman and his awesome staff...
There are many thank you notes that need
written in the weeks to come.

It was so wonderful to see pictures of Isaac at home!!!! Love the picture of him eating on top of the table! He was funny in Haiti because he would call the dogs over and as soon as they came near he would yell "go Belle!" Landie was terrified of our dogs when she came home. I thought she would climb on top of my head when she first saw them. They spent a good week in the basement until she started to feel more comfortable.

I remember when I saw him 3 years ago in Haiti and Katie said you were adopting him. It seems like so so long ago. It has been a long hard journey. I am so glad he is home with his family.

It was such a delight meeting him tonight and sharing his cake! What a funny, joyful little boy. I am so glad he is home and already fitting in. Although you didn't choose his name, it suites him perfectly! (Isaac means laughter)
Hugs to you all.

I find this entire story so absolutely amazing- You were willing to move mountains to get this child... and then mountains moved, and shook and walls came tumbling down... and you got this child. And then, your husband found the lost sheep, and brought him home. What an amazing, amazing journey. God is so REAL!
